Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- Online – If you have registered to request repeat prescription on line follow the link at the top of this page. Do not include other messages or requests as these will NOT be actioned.
- By Hand– drop your repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
- By Post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- By Fax – to 01376 502393
- Telephone Requests. - For patient safety no requests for repeat prescriptions are taken by telephone.
Please allow two working days for prescriptions to be processed and they will be ready for collection after 16:00. Please take weekends into account; requests made on a Friday will be ready after 16:00 on the following Tuesday.
If you require your prescription early please write the reason on the prescription request.
By arrangement prescriptions can be forwarded to a Witham chemist of your choice who will collect them from the surgery. You can then collect your medication directly from them.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
